Collection: Juneteenth Collection

Short for June Nineteenth-commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, TX, learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.  Celebrated annually, it honors Black freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality in the United States.  It became a federal holiday in 2021.
